Account setup checklist
You own the accounts. We build in them. You can remove our access anytime. One-time setup — about 15 minutes.
1. Domain registrar
Where you renew yourpractice.com (GoDaddy, Google/Squarespace Domains, Namecheap, etc.) — separate from whoever built the site.
- Log in and confirm you control the domain
- Reply with: registrar name + can you log in? (Yes / No / Not sure)
- Don’t change nameservers or DNS (especially mail/MX) until we say so
Can’t find or log in? Email us — we’ll help.
2. Cloudflare & GitHub
Pick one. Same result: accounts in your name, Groundwork as admin.
Option 1 — Zoom
- Reply asking for a Zoom setup
- Join with practice email open + registrar login available
- Verify Cloudflare/GitHub emails, set passwords, save them
We handle invites, site connection, and domain cutover at go-live.
Option 2 — DIY
Cloudflare
- Sign up at dash.cloudflare.com/sign-up with practice email (Free plan)
- Manage Account → Members → invite

- When we send the repo link: invite

Wrap up
- Reply when invites are sent
- Leave DNS / nameservers alone
At go-live — we handle
Copy DNS (esp. email) → point nameservers at the registrar → connect the real domain → confirm site + email → handoff doc.
Optional later: move the domain into Cloudflare. Not required for launch. Ongoing cost: ~$12–15/year domain renewal. Hosting free.
